"My vehicle was misused for 18 months..."
For a year and a half, they were using my car without permission, piling up parking fines on top of that. They’re super disrespectful and then they just block your number. The so-called manager doesn’t respond to emails or get what customer service means. I've been waiting three weeks for them to refund me what they owe; calling them criminals is putting it lightly. AVOID THESE COWBOYS AT ALL COSTS...

A total mess of a company if I could rate it 0, I surely would. I've had experiences like many others here, where they don’t pick up the phone, charge the wrong amounts on the wrong days, and even tried to take multiple payments. There’s a lot more I could rant about, but that’d fill up a whole page. I'm currently dealing with the financial ombudsman service to hold them accountable for their actions.

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
This company is poorly managed and their customer service is terrible. I finished my loan process and they returned my V5, but I never got it. They've been really unhelpful in following up with Royal Mail, just stating that Royal Mail won't give compensation without proof or even a clear reason. Now, I've had to shell out £25 for a new V5, and Motorkitty couldn't care less, claiming it's not their problem. The vague emails with no real answers are just maddening. Seriously, steer clear if you're looking for a log book loan.

"Confused by the Negative Feedback..."
I really don’t get why there’s such negative feedback like what’s mentioned below. I’ve had a loan with them since 2018 and just wrapped it up a couple of months back. They were super flexible and always lent a hand when I needed it.
Honestly, I think the negative reviews come from folks who don’t pay their dues and then face the music. Just pay back your loan, folks - it’s not a freebie, so settle up and you won’t run into any issues.
Great job, Motorkitty! If I ever need another loan, you’ll definitely be my go-to.

"Overpriced and Frustrating Experience"
Way too pricey. I’ve looked at other options, and honestly, they’re not the best deal out there. The application process is a joke, and good luck getting a call back. Just steer clear. The only decent part is the guy who picks up the phone—he’s nice enough, but the overall service is just a mess.

"Stay Away from This Company!"
If you’ve got a barge pole, don’t even think about using it on this company. I’m taking my situation to the ombudsman because the staff and managers here are terrible at owning up to their mistakes. I didn’t get any reminders about default notices, nor did I receive any emails or texts. Every time I reached out to set up a repayment plan, they were a nightmare to deal with—completely unyielding, demanding absurd amounts to be paid right away, usually around £500.00. They’re probably the priciest company out there. I’ve missed four payments and racked up £3500 in fees. They show zero empathy. My car got repossessed, and I was hit with three separate fees for that! I’ll keep you posted with any updates and will also share a statement of account to highlight those outrageous fees! They flaunt the CCTA logo on their site, but they’re not members anymore. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!"
I took out a small loan with this outfit, and over a year, I missed a couple of payments, which left me with some overdue amounts. I pleaded with them to accept a lower payment (just £14.86 less each month) and to stop piling on the charges since I was having a tough time financially. They completely ignored my requests and kept sending me default letters, which really messed with my mental health and contributed to a serious low point in my life.
I tried to get back on track by managing my finances (and I’m doing better now!) but after more begging and explaining, we reached an agreement via email that I would make the smaller payments and avoid any extra charges. However, Motorkitty didn’t hold up their end of the bargain and kept sending default notices (with added fees), and I couldn’t see any of the payments I made being applied to my outstanding balance (considering I only missed two in a year).
I then requested a detailed breakdown of my arrears and a statement of my account so I could match their records with what I had from my bank. They haven’t given me this info and instead keep throwing obstacles my way to dodge the issue.
Throughout this whole ordeal over the past year, I’ve only encountered pedantic, condescending, and quite immature responses to all my customer service inquiries. It feels like I’m dealing with kids who haven’t grown up yet.
Do not trust them, steer clear of this company; they are truly the worst. Any 5-star reviews must have been written by them or bought.

"This company is truly commendable"
I genuinely can't find anything to criticize about this company. They've been fantastic in handling my situation, always eager to assist whenever I've needed help. They’ve pushed back fees and accommodations as much as they could. I never faced any problems, and compared to a lender I dealt with before, that experience was a nightmare. But motorkitty has really brought back my trust. They're helpful, proactive, and always respond promptly. No complaints here, just a very satisfied customer! :)

"outrageous customer support"
Absolutely appalling support from the management after a mistake on their part. I faced a tech issue that led to them sending me incorrect emails and texts claiming my bank had turned down the payment, even though I have solid proof from my bank that this isn’t true. They also tried to slap on late payment fees when it was clearly their mistake. They told me to make the payment and then wanted me to update my bank info, which is just ridiculous since my details haven’t changed. I requested a copy of the call to send to the financial ombudsman and I'm still waiting for a response. I’m completely furious about how I was treated today.

GOT CHARGED TWICE ON MY ACCOUNT AFTER A PAYMENT WAS LATE BY 2 WEEKS...THIS LEFT ME STRUGGLING TO PAY MY MORTGAGE. RESPONSES TO MY EMAILS WERE SLOW AND NOT HELPFUL, FEELING QUITE PATRONIZING AND REALLY, REALLY PRICEY. STAY AWAY FROM THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I won't be coming back. They didn’t send back my log book after I paid for it. Instead, they just handed me £15 to get a new one since they lost it.
